“Element Terre” was designed for the dance contest of the Francophone games, held in Beirut in September 2009, and allowed the company to be selected as one of the 5 finalists of the contest that gathered participants from 52 countries at a first stage of the competition.

The piece is about the quest for identity undertaken by those who are leaving their home countries in order to find freedom and a better life. This is representative of our region as generation of people have chosen exile in order to escape war and violence, but it is also the reality of the world we live in today, where individuals feel trapped in their own spaces and try to widen their horizons.
