One of my favorite sights to see is the Beirut skyline when I’m returning from a vacation abroad. It is so peaceful, still, and serene. From above, you can see how much Lebanon has changed and developed over the past few years. New buildings have sprung up, old gaps have been filled by new structures and lights, and old structures have been renovated to boast our heritage. Looking at this angle of Beirut, you can see all its beauty, hope, and future; you can sense its depth and history. You don’t have to be on an airplane to see this. Pick your own spot where you can drown in the lights of the city, admire our ever-changing skyline, and absorb the beauty of Beirut.
