On Thursday night a red carpet was rolled out at the entryway of White Beirut leading to a Tag Heuer sponsor backdrop, where guests were able to snap photos in front of.
By midnight the club filled up with beautiful people ready to party. DJ Elie, who filled in for resident DJ Bob, represented Bob’s set very well.
At 1:30 lights dimmed and announcer requested clubbers to put their hands together in order to warmly welcome to the stage Steve Angello (DJ, producer, record label owner and member of the Swedish House Mafia). Steve came out hitting hard with heavy progressive house beats. 80’s aerobic inspired dancers joined Steve on stage. Steve mixed progressive, tech and electro house with commercial hits, musically pleasing the crowd with his diverse DJ style. Steve is no doubt a professional when it comes to performing but he also seemed to be a professional partier. Taking shots between songs with his crew who made certain he had a bottle of Jägermeister readily available throughout the set. I loved that! Steve displays that he is having a great time while performing for fans.
Resident DJ Devon followed Steve Angello closing the night with a mix of hip-hop and R&B jams. White was full until the end of the night. It seems once guests enter White it is hard for them to leave.
