The Scouts du Liban, Group of Champville are proud to present the biggest Neckerchief in the world
The Scouts team worked really hard to beat the last world record registered in England. Their neckerchief size: 14*11*11.
Under the high patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Tourism Mr. Fady Abboud, the Neckerchief of 900m2 (60*40*40) was revealed to the public on the 1st of May 2011.
This record will figure in the new Guinness World Record Book and will definitely make all the Lebanese proud. It is important to mention that this accomplishment is part of a bigger event “La Foire du Grand Manitou”, the annual kermes of the Group and that is going to take place on the 7th and 8th of May 2011.
And all the funds of the ladder will help finance the restoration and renovation of the Public School of Antelias.
And all the fabric used for the Neckerchief will be reused to sue curtains for the classes of the Public School we will be working on approving.
