Every bride wants to feel unique on the biggest and most important day of her life, looking perfect in a dress that not only looks exquisite, but also compliments her personal coloring, shape and personality.“Something Blue” is a new bridal boutique set in a traditional Lebanese house in charming Gemmayze, offering brides not only unique designer dresses, but also customized image consulting service in a lovely warm space.
Too often brides shop without expert help and make choices based on pretty dresses they see in magazines or in person at bridal shops rather than what is really flattering for their body shape, personal coloring and personality. With a course in image consulting from one of the top 5 fashion schools in the worldand a bridal stylist certificate, the boutique owner wants to assist brides in getting the most flattering wedding dress for their big day and help them look their personal best.
Cynthia Nakhle, Something Blue’s owner personally attends all appointments to help brides find their dream wedding dress. Offering all brides in the region something different, she says, “We believe that shopping for a bridal gown should be a memorable milestone in every bride’s wedding planning journey and we promise to offer an unforgettable experience. We invite all future brides to step in our home, and let us pamper and guide you in discovering what is best for you, play dress up and leave feeling like you have the best time and bought the best dress.”
This one-of-a-kind bridal boutique was named after the traditional rhyme which details what a bride should wear at her wedding for good luck; “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.” Along the lines of this rhyme, Something Blue wants to offer brides “something different”. The boutique carries designers that are new and different to the bridal scene in the region. Something Blue features up-and-coming and independent NYC designers like Rafael Cennamo and Elizabeth Fillmore, as well as established brands that are not represented in the region – Anne Barge, Hayley Paige and Lela Rose. The boutique also carries whimsical and romantic headpieces designed by Twigs & Honey, as well as an assortment of bridesmaid dresses that can be mixed and matched by Amsale.
With its personal bridal styling service, its new and unique designers, as well as its laid-back cozy atmosphere, Something Blue offers “Something Different” and will make sure every bride leaves feeling like she had the best time and found her dream dress.
