International Fairs & Promotions (IFP) Group and the Lebanese Association of Motorcycle manufacturers exclusive Agents (LAMA) announced the launch of the leading outdoor and sports exhibition, Outdoor Lebanon, alongside the first-ever Beirut Motorcycle Show. Both events will be held concurrently from June 20 to 24, 2012, at the Beirut International Exhibition & Leisure Center (BIEL).

The press conference, which was hosted at Classic Burger Joint Restaurant, the official caterer of the event, included Mr. Fady Jreissati, Vice-President of IFP, and Mr. Ziad Richa, President of LAMA, besides exhibitors, media and sports clubs’ representatives.

In his speech, Jreissati noted that this year’s edition of Outdoor Lebanon will be held in the main hall inside BIEL, differing from last year’s event, which took place in the outside area. He said, “This step is due to the show’s enhancement, a fact visitors will clearly notice given the large number of exhibitors, which include the leading companies in the industry.” Jreissati added that “The show will include top companies in each category such as hunting, fishing, water sports, hiking besides adventure sports and other outdoor activities.”

For his part, Mr. Richa said: “Launching this highly anticipated motorcycle show responds to the aspirations of a large public of motorcycle professionals and amateur drivers in Lebanon.”

Richa added: “Visitors will also enjoy the wide display of leading international names in motorcycles, in addition to products and services ranging from motorcycle spare parts, accessories and apparel, including clothing, gear, wheels, spare parts, lubricants, protection equipment, special bank loans, insurance programs, and much more.”

Outdoor Lebanon is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition for the outdoors and sports industry in Lebanon. This unique event gathers exhibitors, major retailers and outfitters specialized in outdoor products and accessories for water, land, and air sports.

At the closing of the conference, Jreissati and Richa concluded, “This event will constitute a benchmark in this year’s summer events in Lebanon and a source of recreation and fun for all Lebanese and foreign visitors”.  They addressed an invitation to all sports enthusiasts and amateurs, as well as tourists, to visit the show and enjoy a unique experience.
