Café del Mar Chillout Sessions with the Agency and Me at Ociel

On August 1^st, The Agency and Me brought to Lebanon the creators and absolute masters of chill-out and lounge music, Café del Mar.

Located in Ibiza’s St Antoni Portmany, Café del Mar is renowned worldwide for its breathtaking view of the sunset on the Spanish party isle. And as they say, you go for the sunset, and stay for the moon, only to see the sun rise again the next morning. And that’s exactly what happened in Lebanon, at the carefully chosen and exclusive venue of Ociel.

Ociel’s view of the sunset is comparable to Ibiza’s, with the added bonus of a bird’s-eye view of Beirut, Jounieh and the mountains that surround them.

This beautiful backdrop coupled with the fantastic décor and white furniture theme and a stage set up above the venue’s pool, set the scene for the incredible and diverse lineup of live acts, DJs and dancers.

The clubbers that made their way to Ociel were classy and mature, and had reached a level of musical appreciation that made the Café del Mar experience one they would definitely not miss.

DJ Gary got the night going with his laidback chillout set, that allowed everyone to find their seats, absorb the wonderful views and appreciate the magnitude of what was to come. Once the guests were settled in, a unique blend of Chill-House kicked off, with the Madsax of PHA performing live. Gary then made way for Kenneth, who along with Jonas Krag continued the Chill-House session.

At 11:00 PM, it was time to dance, and Disse on the decks along with Jonas and PHA’s Madsax shifted the crowd from the laidback-chilled feeling, to a mood of steamy dancing. Gorgeous gogo dancers with moves worthy of a Broadway musical ushered in the inner-dancer in each Café del Mar guest, swelling the dance floor with eager ears, shuffling feet and waving hands.

Valentin and Bruno took command of the DJing after Disse, with Jonas and PHA still going strong on the live performance.

At 5:00 AM, Chico of PHA did the honor of ushering in the sunrise, with his signature Paris House Addict set bringing the night to an amazing climax with Caroline and Madsax performing live.

At 6:00 AM, and as with every climax, one needs to chill and relax afterwards… which is exactly what Bruno did with a set of Chill-House sending the guests home, content and de-stressed, courtesy of Café del Mar’s trademark Chill-Out mood and The Agency and Me’s world-class management.
